Of all the souls I have encountered in my travels

Rarely do I post even on successive days, let alone twice in the same day, but I do feel like part of my childhood has died this evening.

Happy trails, Mr Nimoy.

  1. Same here. I had to post twice today. Major loss.

It’s weird, because he was 83 and had a long and successful career. I shouldn’t feel sad, I suppose But he was one of those people you thought would always be here.

      • Yeah, I know. He was a huge part of my life growing up. It’s like a part of my past is severed. May his memory continue to inspire. Cheers!

  2. His last Twitter feed read:
“A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. Live long and prosper.”

  3. Yes, I feel the same way Sheldon does. I wrote a bit about Mr. Nimoy as well. Maybe it will offer you comfort

That’s lovely. I wasn’t familiar with the Rupert Brooke, but as you say, it does seem very fitting.
